The Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly became a hot bed for the ruling congress legislators as the TDP launched an avalanche of corruption and nepotism charges against the four year old congress government of Y S rajasekahra Reddy government.
The TDP president charged that congress MLA’s had turned into contractors for all the government infrastructrure projects. In his five hour long debate in the assembly exposed the misdeeds of the congress government to the core. Beginning with his claim of surrender of assigned land to government as “modern vinoba bhave”
He charged that YSR had donated over 60,000 acres of land worth Rs.81,326 crore to 154 big business companies. Even the Rajiv Arogyasree health insurance was given to a favorite company–Star Health Insurance company ignoring the claims of popular and strong companies in the country.
Claiming that YS who claimed to have an income of just Rs.25 lakhs per annum in 2004 has claimed an Rs.40 crore by end of March 2008 Chandrababu Naidu said that the CM’s family m has now steel, cement, bauxite, hotel, shopping malls cinema theatres, real estate and as well educational institutions.
